A new opportunity for a Corporate Lawyer c 5 + PQE to join an established in house legal department.
THE ROLE
The post holder will be expected to manage a varied workload, with a high level of responsibility, working alongside management, external counsel and senior stakeholders with handling the following;
Corporate work covering acquisitions of debt portfolios in the regulated and non-regulated sectors
Drafting and negotiating commercial/ service-related agreements across a range of business areas in the UK and Europe
Asset management/financial agreements
Commercial work will cover; IT contracts, data processing agreements
Risk management ; governance, regulatory advice where necessary
Management of external counsel/ budgets
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role, applicants must have relevant experience in international M&A matters, preferably with experience of consumer protection law, gained for a leading City law firm or similar.
The role could be based in Kent or split London/Kent – homeworking available
