Live in Carer

Description:

Eximius is a refined Live in Care Company based in Beaconsfield. We are currently looking to recruit a live in carer/s to work in Wales and have experience working with Dementia clients.

Applicants need to be confident drivers and able to use their own vehicle to take the client to appointments etc.

Responsibilities

As part of this support team, you will be responsible for assisting with:

• Supporting with all aspects of independent living
• Supporting with access to community activities
• Attending appointments and administering rehabilitation program
• Managing client’s motivation, fatigue, and emotional.
• Keeping detailed records of support provided
• Managing fluid and nutrition requirements
• Some domestic tasks and have good cooking skills.

The candidate will need to be a calm friendly person, with lots of empathy and understanding of confidentiality and personal privacy. They will also need to work well as a team and integrate well with the other carers.

The Carer would need to work on a rota basis.

We offer £100 Per day, UK travel covered up to £60 each way between assignments, Generous milage allowance for trips with clients, Cost of DBS and training covered.
