By Man charged following Wingate Road incident
A man has been charged with an incident at business premises that police responded to over the weekend.
To clarify, this is a separate incident as another man was recently charged for a similar crime, however, this took place on Cleethorpe Road last week and is not related.
The incident happened on Wingate Road, Grimsby, where it was reported a man illegally entered a business.
The report happened on Saturday 16th April, when the man was reportedly seen taking goods from the premises illegally.
Humberside Police have released a statement about the incident and the man charged.
“A man has been charged following an incident at business premises on Wingate Road, Grimsby on Saturday 16th April.
“Darren Williams (37) of Eskdale Way, Grimsby was charged with theft and released on police bail to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court at a later date.
“It is reported that a man entered business premises and is believed to have taken several goods without making payment”.
