Eleven-year-old girl hit by car

Lincolnshire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a collision involving an 11-year-old girl in Louth.

The incident, happened yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 14 December.

A police spokesperson said: “We are on scene at a collision involving a car and an 11-year-old girl in North Holme Road, Louth.

“We were called at 3.35pm. Next of kin are aware.”

North Holme Road was closed to motorists for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.

The road later reopened early yesterday evening.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 298 of December 14.

Lincolnshire Police have been contacted for a comment regaring the victim’s condition.
