Humberside Police appeal for wanted man after Scunthorpe theft
Officers investigating a theft from a motor vehicle in Scunthorpe are appealing for help in identifying an unknown man.
It is reported that on Wednesday 26 May 2021, between 2:00pm and 2:30pm, a man smashed a car window and took a handbag containing a bank card. The card was later used to pay for goods in two stores.
The vehicle was parked on a lane behind the shops on High Street, between Oswald Road and Dunstall Street, Scunthorpe.
Whilst extensive enquiries have taken place since the incident, police are now appealing to anyone who may recognise this man, or who believes they were in the area at the time of the incident, to call police on our non-emergency number quoting crime reference 16/54468/21.
