By Ensure your cars are locked
There’s been a report this morning that two youths on foot were trying car doors and house doors on the Skippingdale Estate of Scunthorpe.
A neighbourhood watch spokesperson reported ‘They were seen by a resident at the top of Avenue Clamart at 02.30 am who were woke by their dogs barking. They looked out of their window and saw two youths who were trying car and house doors. The residents shouted at them from their bedroom window asking what they were doing and saying they’d called the police and the youths both then ran off.’
Please take care and make sure your house, car, garage and shed doors are locked and that windows are closed in the evening. If you see anything suspicious please call and report it.
