Our client, a global ion exchange manufacturer, is experiencing increased demand for its products and is looking to hire two Pilot Laboratory Technicians to work in the current and second pilot plant.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
?¦ To manufacture agarose resins in the pilot plant.
?¦ To assist with product and process transfer from R&D to pilot, and pilot to manufacturing scales
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
?¦ Produce agarose resin products in accordance to ISO9001 and pharmaceutical standards.
?¦ Carry out required tasks to produce agarose products in the pilot plant.
?¦ Carry out all work procedures properly, reliably and safely
?¦ Interact and work professionally with other scientists and engineers
?¦ Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the Management of the company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
?¦ A level in Chemistry.
?¦ Laboratory experience (1-5 years) essential.
?¦ Available to work shift patterns comprising a 4 day on, 4 day off rota ?? day shifts only.
?¦ Able to manually handle raw materials, products and equipment up to 25 kg.
?¦ Handle hazardous chemicals in accordance to strict H&S policies.
?¦ Basic computer competency.
