Rapist on the run spotted in nearby city

A convicted rapist who absconded from prison last month has been spotted on CCTV footage in Doncaster.

Paul Marshall, 53, was reported missing from the prison on Tuesday, 22 November. He was serving a life sentence at the site for rape and wounding with intent.

Late last month he was spotted in Mansfield. Now, police have released CCTV images after a man thought to be Marshall was seen in Doncaster on Wednesday.

Anyone who sees Marshall should not approach him but should instead call 999, quoting incident 298 of 22/11/2022.

We are continuing to search for absconder Paul Marshall who may be in South Yorkshire.
