The Grimsby business helping those in need over Christmas

A locally loved Grimsby establishment is offering a helping hand to those in need over Christmas.

The Bartender, at The Old Market Place, in Grimsby, will open their doors for the public to help people that ‘don’t have the pleasures in life most of us have’.

The business shared the post to social media, that they will be serving free food and tea/coffee to do just that, and they are also doing a collection to ‘keep people warm through Christmas’, where the public can drop off any bedding that can be used.

On their page, they said bedding can be dropped off any day of the week at The Bartender, The Old Market Place, 11-12, Grimsby.

They wrote on social media:

‘This Christmas eve we will be serving free food and tea or coffee to help people that don’t have the pleasures in life most of us have.

‘ If anyone would like to drop off any old bedding that can be given out to keep people warm through Christmas.

‘You can drop it off at The Bartender, the old market place Grimsby any day of the week. Thank you.’

A commenter wrote: ‘Love this, someone who understands the meaning of Christmas.’
