Man hospitalised after police attend knife incident
An incident occurred early evening yesterday, as emergency services were called to a Cleethorpes street, with reports alleging an assault.
The incident happened shortly before 5 pm, yesterday, Sunday 20 November, where Police say a man was assaulted with a knife.
The force said the man suffered ‘knife wounds’ and was taken to hospital following the incident.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We were called at 4:45pm today (Sunday 20 November) to reports that a man had been assaulted on Harrington Street, Cleethorpes.
“It is believed the man suffered knife wounds in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
“Our investigations are ongoing, and we would ask for anyone with information about this incident to call us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 351 of 20 November.
“Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers completely anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
