Police appeal for information after incident in Grimsby shop
Humberside Police have appealed for information regarding an incident in a shop.
An incident reportedly took place in a shop where a small fire was lit within the premises.
It is understood nobody was injured in the incident, which took place at 6 pm on Tuesday 24th May.
The incident took place at a shop situated on Victor Street, Grimsby.
Police are looking for information about the incident that took place, with any that can assist.
They are asking for any identification regarding the man or if anyone had any information.
In their statement posted they said:
“Do you know this man?
“Officers investigating a reported arson are keen to identify him as they believe he may have information that could assist with enquiries.
“The incident took place at around 6 pm on Tuesday 24 May at a shop on Victor Street, Grimsby when a small fire was reportedly lit within the shop. Thankfully nobody was injured in the incident.
“Anyone who recognises the man, or has information about the incident, is asked to call 101 quoting log 436 of 24 May.
“If you would prefer to report information anonymously you can do so via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
