Scunthorpe United announce first pre-season friendly 

Scunthorpe United have announced their first pre-season friendly. 

The Iron are set to play Farsley Celtic on Saturday 30 July in a pre-season friendly. 

Despite their relegation into the National League, Scunthorpe will be looking to impress throughout the pre-season campaign with hopes to bounce back into League Two next season! 

The Iron will travel to the Citadel where they’ll play Russ Wilcox’s National League North team. 

Additionally, the club announced that they will be hosting a ‘morning coffee’ event next Thursday (26 May) 

Scunthorpe supports will have the chance to discuss pre-season and the National League campaign ahead with Lee Turnbull, the Irons Chief Operating Officer. 

In a statement, the club stated the remaining friendlies will be announced once finalised.
