Danny Rose to leave Grimsby Town at the end of his contract

Grimsby Town Football club has announced that midfielder Danny Rose will leave the club once his current contract comes to an end.

In a statement, the club said Rose will be moving elsewhere after signing for the Mariners back in August 2020.

He has made 26 appearances and since October 2021 Rose has been out on loan at Darlington in the Vanarama National League North.

The club went on to thank Rose for his efforts and wished him well in the future.

GTFC said: “To allow the player to seal a move elsewhere, Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that midfielder Danny Rose will leave the club at the end of his current contract.

“Rose signed for the Mariners in August 2020 on a two-year contract, making 26 appearances in all competitions. Since October 2021, Rose has been out on loan at Darlington in the Vanarama National League North, where the Quakers ended the season in 13th position.

“We would like to thank Danny for his efforts whilst representing Grimsby Town Football Club and wish him all the very best for the future.

“Further information on players’ contracts will be released on the conclusion of our Playoff campaign.”
