An all-English Champions League final could be confirmed for the second year running tomorrow.
English football has been absolutely breathtaking this season with the Premier League still undecided, a Scouse quadruple still possible, and the idea of yet another all-English European night to whet the appetite of football fans!
Tonight, Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool travel to Villarreal with a 2-0 advantage, anything but defeat will guarantee a place in this years Champions League final later this month.
Meanwhile, Man City have a slightly harder task ahead of them when they’ll face LaLiga Champions, Real Madrid tomorrow.
Guardiola’s men will look to use last years heartache as motivation going into their second leg battle, after a stubborn Chelsea team defeated the boys in blue in Porto last year.

“They are champions in Spain, we are trying to be champions here. I said a week ago, we’re in the semi-final to try and be in the final second year in a row is our target”
As Liverpool look to book a place in the final, Klopp and ex-Arsenal and current Villarreal gaffer, Unai Emery shared similar sentiments during press conferences held within the past days.
Emery suggests his side would need to play a “perfect game” against an inform Liverpool team, adding:
“We need to find our excellence in certain things and maybe achieve something no-one has achieved, which is this kind of comeback.
“We will try to find some weak spots, something that no-one has done this season”
Klopp warned that the Spanish opposition will “go for us” and his squad should be ready to “play a top game”
“With all these things during the season, obviously with the situation we’re in, we must’ve done something right, that’s clear”, the German added.
“But the problem in our job is everything’s perfect until the next game starts on the wrong foot and all of a sudden the game gets a different dynamic”
