By ‘Tory frontbencher’ being investigated for watching porn in commons
A Tory MP is being investigated over allegations they watched pornography on their mobile device whilst in Parliaments’ Commons chamber.
The office of Conservative chief Chris Heaton-Harris has said he “is looking into this matter”.
He told ITV News: “This behaviour is wholly unacceptable and action will be taken.”
The investigation has been formed after The Mirror and The Sun investigated claims that were referenced during a meeting of Tory MPs in Westminster the night prior.
The investigation reportedly centered on allegations that a Conservative frontbencher watched the explicit content in the Commons chamber, but it was not immediately established whether the MP was a frontbencher.
MP Zarah Sultana added on Twitter as the news broke that the person in question was caught by a fellow female MP.
