Motorcyclist sustains serious injuries after Scartho Road crash
A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries after a collision in Scartho on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, a motorcycle and a car collided on Scartho Road near Sutcliffe Avenue at roughly 4:15 pm.
The section of the road where the crash occurred was cordoned off by police whilst emergency services carried out their duties.
Witnesses at the scene said that the motorbike went into the car but these reports have not been confirmed.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the crash ad was taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers were called to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Scartho Road, Grimsby, at around 4:15 pm yesterday (Sunday 10 April).
“It was reported that a motorcycle and a car were in collision near to Sutcliffe Avenue. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
