Five charged for £300,00 Sandtoft cannabis grow
Five people have been charged for a cannabis grow in Sandtoft, Humberside Police have said.
On Friday 1 April, multiple officers attended a location on Sandtoft Industrial Estate after local residents reported strong smells of the drug coming from the area.
After entering the suspected property, Humberside Police officers uncovered a cannabis grow of more than 500 plants.
The estimated street value of the class B drug is believed to be around £300,000.
Since the discovery, five men have been charged for being involved in the production of a class B drug.
Four men of no fixed address, Astrit Prenga (39), Luan Mara (36), Lefter Dhimpali (52) and Rakip Shima (24) were charged, alongside Flogert Dervishi (35) of Springfield Park Road, Chelmsford.
All five men have been remanded to appear at Grimsby Crown Court on Tuesday 3 May.
