Final results for this seasons Scunthorpe Tuesday Pool League!

Showmans Army have regained the title of ‘Champions Of Scunthorpe’ on the final day of the league season.

Fu Cue played a double header on final day but their 6-6 draw against 5th placed Broughton Club and 8-5 defeat to Army on secured joint second place.

Joining them is Mulligans Trojans who incredibly tied the runners up spot on final day as they beat 4th placed Chaos.

Beacon A and Showmans Cobras finished the season off in 6th and 7th positions following a 6-6 draw with each other.

The battle of Black Beauty at the bottom of the division went in the favour of Back In Black, beating stable mates 8-4 thus relegating the A team to division 2 after just one season in the top flight.

The most intriguing final day title decider was certainly in division 2 as both Brumby Hall and Redbourne Mods went into round 18 on level points at the top.

It was Brumby Hall who finished the season off in clinical fashion claiming the division 2 title following a terrific 10-3 win away at joint 3rd placed RAOB.

Redbourne Mods surprised everyone this season and challenged for a promotion place throughout the campaign.

A 6-6 draw away at joint 3rd placed Cocked Hat secured their promotion to the top flight for the first time.

Messingham Crown finished off their first campaign in division 2 (also in joint 3rd position) with an 8-4 win over last seasons division 3 champions Glennys Poachers.

Mulligans Tight Rack will be heading straight back to the third divisions as they couldn’t avoid relegation on final day losing out to Showmans Improvers 9-3.

Winterton Jubilee cemented their grasp on second spot on final day with a convincing 10-3 win away at Comet. The result also relegated the hosts to division 4.

Chancel avoided relegation on final day as they beat 6th placed Pig & Whistle 8-4, finishing off the season much better than how they started. Liberal Club of Crowle were sweating at the end as they drew 6-6 with last seasons division 4 champions Cocked Hat however the result was enough to maintain their division 3 status for another season.

Showmans Hitmen finished off in a creditable 4th spot drawing 6-6 with newly crowned champions Mulligans Majestic Sausage Dogs.

Mulligans ST and Harry’s bar have effectively tied 2nd spot in division 4. ST’s finished off the season with a 6-6 draw against last seasons division 6 champions Brigg Town FC.

Fedoras (currently in third spot) are all but champions requiring four frames out of twenty four from their games in hand to secure the title however they finished off the standard season with a 7-5 defeat to 5th placed Broughton WMCA.

Chancel secured a decent 4th placed finish beating Talbot 11-2 which subsequently relegated the hosts to division 5. Mulligans Madness finished off their debut season losing 7-5 to Redbourne Norkolk n Chance which secures their division 4 status.

Old Farmhouse have won back to back league titles with the division 5 title the latest to join the trophy cabinet as they secured the championship with an 8-5 victory away at RHH. Schnapps A needed a victory on final day to pinch the final promotion spot which they did, winning 7-5 against Roxy Rack Em.

Mulligans Youth just missed out on top 2 following their draw with 5th placed Mill Road B.

Mill Road DM did enough to secure the final promotion spot in division 6 following their 8-4 victory against 5th placed Ashby Crown.

Back Beauty did their best to attempt to pinch second spot with a decent 10-2 against Frod Road which secures them 3rd spot.

Last seasons division 8 champions Grosvenor A finish 4th this time round as they wrapped up their season with an 11-2 win against Beacon Rats. Bottom placed Grosvenor B look likely to be in division 7 next season as they finished the season losing 9-4 to Beacon Old Boys.

Division 7 champions Showmans Hornets finish the season in ferocious fashion winning mercilessly 10-3 away at Beckwood. Foxhills Club finish the season in 2nd, 12 points clear of 3rd placed Schnapps Elite whom they defeated 9-3 on final day.

Brumby Hall B secure 6th spot on their debut season after beating bottom side Schnapps Retro 8-4.

Meanwhile Schnapps Reloaded and Scunthorpe bowl wrapped up an unforgettable Scunthorpe Tuesday Pool League season with a draw.
