By Queen cancels engagements after suffering COVID symptoms
Buckingham Palace have announced that the Queen has cancelled her virtual engagements after experiencing COVID symptoms.
She was confirmed to have tested positive on Sunday after a number of other cases were recorded at Windsor Castle.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are amongst those who have tested positive.
The Queen had been expected to continue to carry out ‘light duties’ at Windsor Castle, but has since cancelled a number of engagements.
Today, a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said: “Her Majesty is still experiencing mild cold like symptoms. She has decided not to undertake her planned virtual engagements”
The Queen, who is now 95-years-old, is believed to be triple vaccinated.
