By Overturned lorry closes A15
Part of the A15 in Kirton in Lindsey, near Scunthorpe, is currently closed in both directions due to an overturned lorry.
The road has been closed near to the junction with Redbourne Mere since around 11am.
Traffic is said to be building in all directions, causing severe congestion.
Emergency services are currently on the scene dealing with the incident.
Officers are also on scene instructing drivers about a number of diversions which are in place as a result.
One eyewitness said: “The accident is causing long tail backs into Kirton in Lindsey off the B1400 past the camp due to the 3 way temporary traffic lights.
“Expect long waits.”
Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible.
