Where are the Grimsby walk-in vaccine sites as Plan B restrictions end?
‘Plan B’ Coronavirus restrictions came to an end on Thursday 27 January, but the vaccine push remains strong but where are the walk-in sites in Grimsby?
The Pfizer vaccine is being used predominantly by walk-in sites, as they aim to attract young people who may forget or not bother to book an appointment.
The walk-in site push begins on Saturday 29 January, when Blundell Park welcomes fans to get vaccinated as they face Wealdstone in the National League.
Sunday 30 January has two walk-in sites open in the town, both during 10am to 2pm.
Drugs4Delivery on Acorn Business Park, Moss Road, Grimsby are offering the Pfizer vaccine for anyone over the age of 16.
There is also a site open in Freshney Place Shopping Centre, opposite HMV, offering the same vaccine during the same hours.
This Freshney Place site is also open on Monday, during the same hours of 10am until 2pm.
Drugs4Delivery is also open again on Monday, offering vaccines between the hours of 9am to 5pm.
Periville Pharmacy on Cromwell Road is also open as a walk-in site all week (Monday to Friday) between 9am and 1:30pm.
Centre4 at 17 Wootton Road is open on Tuesday 1 February and are offering both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, they are opening at 10am and closing at 6pm.
Open Door on Albion Street are open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday but are only offering the Pfizer vaccine.
They are open between the hours of 4pm to 7pm on Thursday and Friday but are open all day on Saturday 5 February from 8:30am to 4pm.
