Grant Shapps has updated the UK of updates of foreign travel.
The transport secretary has revealed green, amber and red lists for foreign travel.
He spoke at the Number 10 podiums alongside Paul Lincoln, director general at Border Force, and Dr Jenny Harries, CEO of the UK Health Security Agency.
Mr Shapps says there is a concern about a resurgence of COVID so the only route out is “careful and prudent, a responsible one”.

He says travel reconnects us and it is crucial to rebuild our economy.
The transport went on to say “Turkey, the Maldives and Nepal added to Red List.”
12 countries including Portugal, Gibraltar and Isreal are on the Green List. However, France, Spain and Greece have not made it onto the green list. They will be put on the amber list which means you must go into quarantine for 10 days when you return to the UK.
The lists will be reviewed every three weeks Mr Shapps says.

Countries on the green list will mean that people can travel from England, and when they return they will not need to quarantine.
May 17 is the earliest that overseas leisure travel will be allowed for people in England under Boris Johnson’s road map for easing restrictions.
The Prime Minister said on Wednesday there will be “some opening up” on that date.
Those returning from a red list country must stay in a quarantine hotel for 11 nights at a cost of £1,750.
Assessments will be based on a range of factors, including the proportion of a country’s population that has been vaccinated, rates of infection, emerging new variants, and the country’s access to reliable scientific data and genomic sequencing.
We also hear that vaccine certificates will be on NHS app. English residents will be able to use their NHS Health app to access their vaccination status from 17 May – or can request a letter.
