Celebration of Captain Sir Tom Moore planned in April
Plans to host a celebration of Captain Sir Tom Moore’s life have been revealed by his Daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore.
Captain Sir Tom Moore captured the hearts of the nation when he raised more than 32m for the NHS during the first coronavirus lockdown.
The Second World War veteran died at Bedford Hospital on February 2.
April 30 would have been his 101st birthday.
Ms Ingram Moore has asked the public to “save the date,” adding that an event held the same day will “truly celebrate his generosity of spirit, the hope and joy he brought to millions and his sense of fun.
“We will make sure it is an event that everyone — in the UK and around the world — can get involved in.”
