Over 70s who have not had their vaccine urged to book in
Anyone over the age of 70 who has not yet had their coronavirus vaccine has been urged to book an appointment with the NHS or through their local GP.

The health secretary told a Downing Street press conference yesterday: “Until now we’ve said please wait for the NHS to contact you but now that message is changing.”
Matt Hancock encouraged anyone who lives in England, who is aged 70 and over and has not yet had a jab, to contact the NHS on 119 or contact their local GP.
The government is due to confirm on 15 February whether or not they have reached their vaccination targets for the top four priority groups.
Mr Hancock added: “I’ve been thrilled to see so much enthusiasm about coming forward for a jab and I’m just so pleased that take up has been so high.”
“But we’re not going to rest until all those who are vulnerable have been protected so the NHS and local authorities and the teams working with them are doing everything they can to reach the remaining people in these at risk groups.”
The government has said they are on track to reach their targets and may even reach them before the planned time.
Over 12.2 million people in the UK have been vaccinated against coronavirus, which is almost one in four of all adults across the UK.
The Covid-19 vaccine priority list, set out by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, currently has nine groups in it.
Currently the top four priority groups are being targeted, which include all those over 70, health and social care workers, care home residents, their carers and people deemed to be clinically extremely vulnerable to the virus.
Group five is those aged 65 and over and others include people age 16 to 65 with health clinical conditions, over 60s, over 55s and those 50 or above.
