Position Overview: Care Package Manager role is to manage the daily requirements of a Care Package Manager, develop and promote the service that The AICS Group offer to new and existing clients. It’s a non-clinical base role.
The role will require previous experience or the qualifications to register as the registered manager with the CQC and/or registered with the NMC in order for the AICS Group to open up their service to complex clients that require Nursing staff.
To communicate directly with support workers, case managers, and clients regarding the service and implement required changes to ensure we are continuing to provide an excellent service and meet the NMC and CQC standards. Care Package Manager role will be directly responsible for the supervision, learning, and development of all nursing staff and support workers. This will include management of Complex cases.
Main duties in brief:
* Manage and Coordinate staff teams
* Complete monthly client rota??s
* Complete complex client assessments
* Recruit and supervise nursing staff
* Building relationships with Case Managers
* Attend client Meeting, Team and MDT meetings
* Complaint Management of nursing staff
* Report CQC and Safeguarding concerns
* Support training and development for all staff
* Communicate and support all support workers and nurses
* Support other Package Managers/ Registered Nurse if and when required
* Play a pivotal role in the development of the complex Client Services
Experience required:
* Proven history in the management of staff teams
* Knowledge of Brain Injury, Rehabilitation, nursing or Social Work
* Excellent communication skills
* Quality of service oriented
* Previous registered manager experience desired
* Current registration with the NMC
