Cleethorpes’ beach in Instagram top 10

Cleethorpes’ beach is one of the most ‘Instagrammable’ in the UK

New research conducted by holidaycottages.co.uk reveals the most photogenic beaches across Britain based on the number of Instagram snaps – with our own resort coming in the top 10.

West Beach in Bournemouth was crowned top spot, with Cleethorpes not far behind at number nine.

Holidaycottages.co.uk analysed the number of Instagram snaps across 593 beaches in England, Scotland and Wales, to ultimately reveal the top ten most Instagrammable beaches in the UK.

With a whopping 71,929 Instagram snaps taken at the location, West Beach in Bournemouth took top spot.

Following behind with 53,489 Instagram shots was Seagrove beach in the Isle of Wight, while Formby beach in Merseyside took third place with 37,482 Instagram snaps.

Based on the number of posts the top 10 are:
