Teaching Assistant – SEN | Primary School in Croydon
Ribbons and Reeves are very pleased to be working with a wonderful Primary school in Croydon to support them in the recruitment of a Teaching Assistant who will support two of their pupils who have SEN.

- Immediate start for this Teaching Assistant role
- Support two pupils, one in Year 3 and one in Year 2, both with mild forms of SEN
- Teaching Assistant role for the duration of this academic year, possible permanent role from September 2021.
- Essential to have experience working with children with ASD and ADHD.
- £350 per week | Paid weekly
- 2:1 or First-Class Honours degree required
In this Teaching Assistant role, you will be supporting two pupils with SEN within a mainstream Primary School setting. One of the pupils has ADHD and the other has ASD so previous experience working with children with these conditions is essential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working under the guidance of an experienced SENCO to support one pupil in the morning and another in the afternoon. You will be supporting them during lesson time alongside a qualified teacher and also delivering additional 1:1 sessions when appropriate.
This Teaching Assistant role would be ideal for someone who has a passion for supporting vulnerable children and has plans to go on to become a qualified Educational Psychologist, SENCO, Counsellor or SEN Teacher in the future.
