More about your role
Working as part of our integration team for our largest ever IT project, you will be responsible for architectural design and documentation of the current and future architectural states within the scope of the programme including application, data, integration and infrastructure landscape.
Working with the architecture community across application, integration and infrastructure you will be instrumental in providing guidance and support in architecture activities. You will also be responsible for creating and managing the architecture frameworks which includes enterprise architecture principles, standards reference models, governance and reporting to support the business operations of the architecture function
This is a senior role which will require the ability to communicate complex architectural plans and strategies to a wide variety of audiences so your communications skills must be strong. The ability to oversee delivery, inspire your team/peers and manage solution development with clear priorities will also be needed.
The role can be based from home, however you may in the future need to visit our office in Preston, Lancashire for collaboration meetings.

More about you
We are looking for someone with strong industry knowledge, experience and expertise that can be applied to the programme and business requirements; to advise, guide, and contribute to a targeted tactical and/or strategic solution which addresses the programme and business requirement within a nominal timeframe. You should have prior experience completing assignments as an Enterprise Architect with proven knowledge of application integration and infrastructure architecture.
You should possess experience of working in a fast paced programme to agreed deadlines, with experience of developing architectural deliverables including reference architecture, principles, business capability models, roadmaps, financial plans. Finally you should also have experience of SOA and working to agile/hybrid project methodology.
This role is initially a 6 month contract although it may be extended through to Oct 2021.
