An independent specialist day school is looking to appoint a new Head Teacher to start in January 2021 on a full-time, permanent basis. This exciting opportunity has become available upon the retirement of the current Head Teacher, whom the school are looking to replace with an experienced, resilient, and innovative individual.
Rated ‘Good with Outstanding features’ in their most recent Ofsted report, the all-through school offers support for young people with an autism spectrum condition in a state-of-the-art learning environment which has been specially designed to meet their needs.
This opportunity would be perfect for experienced SEN Deputy Heads wanting to progress to the next stage of their career!
About you:
- A resilient and innovative individual with a vision for the highest standard of autism education provision
- Highly experienced working with children with SEN
- Experience leading, supporting and developing teams to succeed
- Ability to keep calm and work efficiently under pressure
- A demonstrable track record of outstanding teaching and learning and excellent leadership experience
- Must hold UK QTS
