More about your role
As our Group Financial Accountant you will take a lead in ensuring the Financial Accounts and Projects team deliver high quality, timely statutory reporting for the Group, its subsidiaries and related undertakings. You’ll lead on various technical finance projects, as well as working on a cyclical basis completing financial accounts, audits and the group annual report, whilst continuously looking for improvements.
This is a high-profile role within the Finance department with exposure to the Group Finance Director and senior staff across the Group. This role has been created to ensure the Group is able to deliver its ambitious growth strategy and meet the changing needs of the industries in which the Group operates.

More about you
You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who is known for being a first class Financial Accountant. It is essential that you are highly experienced at accounts preparation and audit with knowledge of working with large/complex organisations. You will enjoy working autonomously with defined objectives and deadlines; we are a busy team that enjoys taking ownerships of individual tasks and projects. In order to be successful in this role you must have the ability to switch between tasks quickly and easily without losing focus, as well as the drive to progress your career with us as the role grows with the successful candidate.
It is a pre-requisite that you enjoy stakeholder engagement and can build and maintain effective working relationships. You will be an advanced user of Excel and be highly proficient using various different systems, experience of using Business World would be beneficial.
