By Vandals dramatic attack on Doncaster traffic lights
Vandals in Doncaster have launched a dramatic attack on a set of temporary traffic lights, damaging them with an angle grinder.
South Yorkshire Police are now investigating the case.
The incident is thought to have taken place in the early hours of this morning on Campsall Road, Askern.
One eyewitness described three people taking the tool to the structure, and taking out what appeared to be batteries.
Police confirmed they were looking into the incident.
Speaking yesterday, a spokesperson for the force said:
“We can confirm that we received a call for reports of this today, at 12:39am. Enquiries are ongoing.”
