Doncaster man charged with GBH after quad bike collision
A man has been charged with GBH after an incident where a quad bike collided with two pedestrians, including a child, in Doncaster.
Jordan Fisher, aged 28, appeared before Doncaster magistrates after an incident was reported to the police in which a quad bike was alleged to have collided with two pedestrians in Askern.
A 67-year-old man and a four-year-old girl both suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The incident was reported on Tuesday May 5.
Fisher, of South Street, Doncaster was arrested in connection with the collision on Thursday May 7.
The defendant pleaded not guilty at the hearing at the court room on College Road, and was remanded in custody.
A trail date has been set for June 2020, when he is due to appear before a judge at Sheffield Crown Court, and Fisher has now been charged with two counts of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
This follows an appeal by South Yorkshire Police regarding nuisance bikes and vehicles.
