Grimsby man charged with causing death of woman in fatal crash.

Charlie Ledbury 25 has appeared in court following a tragic accident near Cadwell Park in Louth. It is believed that he was at the wheel of Seat Ibiza when it collided with a Honda Civic in April last year.

Margaret Patrick who was in her 70’s tragically collapsed at the scene and died shortly afterward. A passenger in the Honda Civic was also seriously injured.

Charlie Ledbury appeared at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Thursday and faced charges of causing the death of Margaret Patrick by dangerous driving and causing serious injuries to another woman by dangerous driving.

Ledbury was granted unconditional bail until the next court hearing. The date and time of the trial which will be held at Lincoln Crown Court is yet to be confirmed.
