Doncaster Council issue grim update on Fly Tipping.
We’re into a new decade but that doesn’t mean we’re not still dealing with some of the same issues…in particular FLY TIPPING!
Here are just a few examples of reports we’ve received in December alone…
We dealt with two separate cases of fly tipped brick rubble.
Approx. 60 tonnes in Balby which not only blocked the road for residents but was also contaminated.
Two lorry loads of contaminated waste were also left at Woodfield Plantation.

We cleared them both up…
We’re amazed at some of the things people will fly tip, including sofas and even car doors…
And you might think people fly tip because they’re lazy and it’s easy…but that doesn’t explain this bike up a STREET LIGHT!

We’ve already issued 51 Fixed Penalty Notices since April (sadly it looks like we’ll be adding to that tally in the new year).
We will investigate ALL reports of fly tipping we receive.
If you see fly tipping please report it www.doncaster.gov.uk/flytipping or call us on 01302 736000.
A lot of people will be having a good clear out this weekend after Christmas.
HWRCs across Doncaster are open both Saturday and Sunday to get rid of your waste – find out more here: www.doncaster.gov.uk/HWRC.
