Moped gang terrorise dog walker.
A woman walking her six small dogs was surrounded and intimidated by a gang of youths on motorbikes at Bradley pitches.
On Tuesday afternoon a gang of youths rode onto the pitches on their motorbikes and started churning up the grass by doing skids on the pitch. They then round around her and skidded the bikes towards her and the dogs who then became very distressed.
It is believed that the woman shouted for help and tried to film them on her phone but the youths just laughed at her. It was very distressing and intimidating for her and her dogs.
Lincs Inspire runs Bradley Football Development Centre is working very closely with the police to stop anti-social behaviour on the pitches. They urge anyone who witnesses any incidents or is a victim of anti-social behaviour to contact the police.
Humberside Police have launched Operation Yellowfin in order to combat moped crime in the area and they have had a lot of success. There has been almost a 30 percent reduction in reports of anti-social behaviour and a 22 percent decrease in reports of motorbikes being stolen in Grimsby.
If anyone has any information they are asked to call the non-emergency 101 line or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
