A 12-year-old boy was left terrified after being robbed by a thug in the street.
Joshua Jackson,24 of Hamilton Street Grimsby admitted theft on December 7th at Grimsby Crown Court. He left a 12-year-old boy terrified after he intimidated him after the boy had just been to a cashpoint. Jackson then stole £110 from the boy.
It is believed the boy was left struggling to sleep and is worried about bumping into him again in the street, he went home crying and has needed his mum to walk him to school. Joshua Jackson had 33 previous offences. He was also in breach of a four-month suspended sentence. Which he got in April last year for assault and drink driving. He is thought to have believed that £30 cash which belonged to him had been passed to the boy, and he thought the boy was 16 0r 17. He was jailed for 22 months.
