Police under attack in Stanley Street, Grimsby tonight.

Following a stabbing last night the area is in a stop and search zone.

It is believed that around 40 officers from Humberside Police are at the scene, also the dog section and armed officers.

According to witnesses crowds are out on the streets and there are groups of people attacking the police. With glass bottles being thrown.

It is believed that it is the result of an incident earlier this evening.

The area is in the middle of a stop and search zone which was granted earlier today after a stabbing in Oxford Street last night.
