Nine charges in the same day for five people

Five people were charged yesterday, Tues 3 September, with various offences including burglary, criminal damage and grievous bodily harm following incidents across Hull.

Ethan Wharton (18) of Dartmouth Walk in Hull and a 16-year-old boy, who can’t be named for legal reasons, were both charged with criminal damage and causing fear or provocation of violence after bricks were alleged to have been thrown through the window of a property on Conway Close, Hull on Monday 2 August.

Jason Watson (41) Princes Avenue, Hull was charged with burglary and failing to provide a sample after a passport, jewellery and a games console were reportedly stolen from a property on Queen Street, Hull on Friday 16 August.

Shane Fores (34) of Annandale Road, Hull was charged with grievous bodily harm in connection with an alleged assault in Hull City Centre on Monday 2 September.

Claire Ellis (45) of Edward Collins Square, Hull was charged with burglary and failing to provide a sample following reports of a burglary at a property on New Bridge Road, Hull on Friday 30 August.

All five were remanded in custody and appeared at court this morning.
