New developments at Lakeside Village

Retail giant Next have opened a new store at Lakeside Village.

The store, which is in the unit of the previous Next Outlet store, offers homeware as well as clothing.

Di Rogers, centre manager at Lakeside Village said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Next back to the centre.  It was always a well-loved store and we know that our customers will be happy to have it back!”.

This is the second store to open at Lakeside Village this month.  Sweet Emporium, opened at the beginning of August.  It is a traditional sweetshop with shelves of large sweetie jars, but it also sells modern favourites too.

The retail outlet shopping centre also announced back in June, that work was beginning on a significant refurbishment programme, which will see more than £1m invested in the site over the coming months.

Made redundant in 2017, she's maintained many of her connections within the business, faith, and other local communities. She's also decided to stay here rather than return to either the south or her husband's native Yorkshire, so that she can continue to enjoy and help promote the positives of NELincs.
