Road closure – Frederick Ward Way 29/08

Night-time road closure for Frederick Ward Way, Grimsby

North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, will be carrying out works on Frederick Ward Way during the evening of Thursday 29 August. To allow the works to be completed safely, two sections of Frederick Ward Way will be closed:

• The junction with Church Lane to the Cartergate junction from 7pm until midnight to allow engineers to safely carry out an inspection of Deansgate Bridge

• The junction with Peaks Parkway to the entrance of the car park at Freshney Place from 8pm until midnight for street light replacement works.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed for the closures and local diversion routes in place.

Bus services affected by the closure will be diverted and advanced notices displayed on the buses and bus stops affected by the closure.

North East Lincolnshire Council and ENGIE would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by the works.
