Renewal of appeal over alleged Hull knifepoint shop robbery
Hull
We’re renewing our appeal following a robbery at a Hull shop after detectives arrested a suspect in connection with it who was released following questioning.
The incident happened at the store on the corner of Greenwood Avenue and Cranbrook Avenue on Sunday 4 August.
It was reported that a knife was involved in the incident. No-one was hurt and no cash was taken.
A man was brought in and questioned following our enquiries. Officers released him under investigation as we don’t believe he is the suspect we’re looking for.
The appeal was shared online and information was passed on to us which led us quickly to a suspect.
We want to thank everyone again who shared our appeal.
