Cleethorpes Cricket Club meet Wickersley Old Village in the 4 Probate & Wills ECB Yorkshire South Premier League

Cleethorpes Cricket Club meet Wickersley Old Village in the 4 Probate & Wills ECB Yorkshire South Premier League on Saturday.

The Meggies will be attempting to not only halt their run of defeats but to complete a double over their visitors having won by 20 runs when the sides met at the beginning of May.

Only six points separate the two sides and should Wickersley claim the 12 points they will climb out of the relegation places and overtake Cleethorpes.

In the reverse fixture Louis Kimber hit 60 and Jordan Cook 46 out of Cleethorpes total of 202-8. On Saturday they could both be missing from the line up. Cook suffered a knee injury last week and is certain to be missing while Kimber remains a doubt after missing 3 of the last 4 games with an injury.

Kimber has been listed in the selected team which will be without Callum Carter who is unavailable. Ben Marris has been added, along with Kimber, to the side that finished the game at Hallam last week.

There will be plenty of cricket action at Chichester Road during the next few days. After Saturdays League encounter the Lincolnshire County side take centre court when they meet Suffolk in a 3 day MCCA- Unicorns Championship Eastern Division fixture. Play begins on Sunday at 11 a.m. and admission, including car parking, is free on all 3 days
