By Officers from the local neighbourhood team served a closure notice at an address on Lindsey Street in Scunthorpe yesterday, Tuesday 9 July, following concerns from the local community.
Inspector Paul French said: “Serving this closure notice again demonstrates how my colleagues continue to listen to our communities and when necessary, take action head on.
“Our communities have told us the impact that crime and antisocial behaviour has been having in their neighbourhoods and as a team we want to be clear that we are listening, and that we will not tolerate crime and antisocial behaviour.
“Our commitment is unwavering – we will be relentless in disrupting and bringing misery those criminals impacting our communities in this way. We will take action, and we will do all we can to bring them to justice.
“This is now the fifth house we have closed in this manner and we will continue to work closely with teams from across the Community Safety Partnership, using all our available powers to protect our communities and make our residents, businesses and visitors feel safe.
“I would like to thank our local communities for their continued support in our activity across Scunthorpe and would encourage anyone with any information about crime or antisocial behaviour to contact us on 101 or alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
