By Monday 17th June 2019 was week 7 of the league’s summer league.
18 players took to the oche as Richard Foster was unable to attend due to a slight injury.
Quite a few tough games got played tonight especially involving the top 5 positions. Callum jewitt played 3 of the top 5 including 1st and 2nd place John riches and Hayden Newbegin respectively John winning 4-0 and Hayden winning 4-1. Callum also played Graham Field and won 4-1.
Graham played his 2nd game of the night VS Gary Smith and won 4-0. Gary also lost to Alicia Briggs and Stuart Cox by the same scoreline 4-1.
Stuart Cox wasn’t as fortunate against Jordan Waller as both players shared the points with a 3-3 draw. Jordan played Hayden Newbegin but lost 4-1 meaning Hayden still keeps his 100% win rate.
Stewart May pictured above has had a great week in his personal life with a new addition to his family,he brought that good mood to darts turning around his recent bad form winning 4-0 against Laura Dwyer and drawing 3-3 with Lee Burch.
Lee wasn’t as fortunate in his other games as he lost to Daniel Keaney and Ken Smith. Ken also beat Tony Newbegin 4-1, however Tony turned his fortune around by beating David East.
Mark Braithwaite had a fantastic night drawing 3-3 with Daz Mawer hitting a 180 in the game and beating Ash Newbegin 4-2.
Daz mawer also added to the 180s with his 4th of the summer league in his win VS Laura Dwyer
