Cleethorpes Labour Party Women’s Forum has chosen Women’s Aid as beneficiary to their various fundraising activities.

Many women through no fault of their own can find themselves in domestic abuse situations. When these women eventually find the courage to leave, or as in most cases flee the situation. They do so with only the clothes they and their children stand up in and nothing more.
Women’s Aid North East Lincs is there for these women and their children to provide emergency refuge. They supply accommodation, clothing, toiletries, mental support, and ongoing care.
But because of high demand on their services women’s aid continually need the support of the wider public by way of donations, volunteers and collections of various recyclables for which they get paid.
Cleethorpes Labour Party Women’s Forum has taken their cause to heart and has chosen Women’s Aid as a beneficiary of their various fundraising activities.
In March The Women’s Forum presented Women’s Aid with a cheque for £200. And this week they delivered a large batch of sanitary products donated by shopkeepers across Cleethorpes where they had distributed collection baskets.
