Pedal your way to a summer of cycling – it’s Bike Week!

It’s time to dust off the handlebars and get back in the saddle as Bike Week approaches and the summer weather returns.

North East Lincolnshire Council, working in partnership with ENGIE, has teamed up with Love to Ride and Cycling UK for Bike Week, 8-16 June.

The annual campaign is a celebration of all things cycling and aims to get people back in the saddle ahead of the summer season.

Everyone is encouraged to take part and visit Love to Ride’s website which includes information about cycling across North East Lincolnshire including local cycle routes for all ages and abilities.

There is also a chance to win some amazing prizes including a £750 bike shop voucher and even a European city break. All you need to do is record a ride via the website or the RideReport app between 8-16 June. All the winners will be announced on Love to Ride’s social media.

Bike Week kick starts a summer of cycling. Cycle to Work Day takes place on Thursday 8 August and builds up to Love to Ride’s main event, Cycle September. This is an annual competition between workplaces to see which of them can encourage the most staff to get out on their bikes.
