By Monday 3rd June 2019 was week 5 of Grimsby 501 darts league summer league.
18 players took to the oche at the home of Grimsby 501 darts league birdseye sports and social club.
The only player not in attendance was Lee Burch.
On the night fantastic darts were thrown by a number of players no less than 6 180s was hit by 6 different individuals, Callum Jewitt, Tony Newbegin, Daniel Keaney Graham Field, Stewart May and Laura Dwyer.
Graham Field pictured above also hit a 18 dart leg and a 17 dart leg in a win over Laura Dwyer in a game Graham only missed 1 Dart at a double in a 4-0 win.
Graham was also involved in arguably the pick of the games when he faced off against Daniel Keaney in a game both hit a 180 and nothing separated the pair as the game finished 3-3.
Richard Foster (fozzie) also hit a 17 dart leg in a 4-0 win against Stuart Cox, fozzie 2nd game proved more difficult against Alicia Briggs, Alicia missing double 20 to share the spoils but fozzie winning 4-2.
Callum Jewitt won both games 4-0 on the night v Jordan Waller and Gary Smith.
Gary went into the 2nd game of his against Dave East (Disney) and won 4-0.
Disney had a very disappointing night as he also lost by the same scoreline to Ken Smith and Daniel Keaney (keaney).
Tony Newbegin keeps on improving he beat Jordan Waller 4-0 but lost 4-2 to his son Hayden Newbegin, Hayden also beat mark Braithwaite 4-2 and Laura Dwyer 4-0 and now leapfrogged John Riches to top spot with both players played 12 games each. Hayden still keeping hold of his 100% winning rate.
Winter league winner Daz Mawer finally had a decent night result wise although still not to how he can play he still managed 5 points on the night beating ken Smith 4-0 Alicia Briggs 4-2 but only got a draw VS Ash Newbegin.
Laura Dwyer came up against a few tough opponents tonight in the shape of Hayden, Ash, Graham losing to all 3 but collecting a draw v Stuart Cox in a game she hit a 180 in.
