By Cleethorpes Coast Guards dealt with an unusual incident last night.
CGOC Humber paged the team to deal with an incident which fortunately is one that we don’t have to deal with very often. A car stuck on the beach.
A romantic stroll along the beach with your partner is one thing but taking her for a drive along the beach is craziness at it’s best. As well as being illegal!!
Prior to our arrival, bystanders managed to help push the car onto firm sand, allowing the driver to drive to Brighton Slip way and safely leave the beach.
The driver was given suitable words of safety advice by the team. He was also dealt with by the police for the offence of driving off road.
