By Teenager arrested after attempted murder in Holton-le-Clay
Last night locals in Holton-le-Clay were left astounded after a suspected stabbing and attempted murder took place outside a local pub.
Yesterday evening (14 November) at roughly 5:30 pm Lincolnshire police were called to a suspected stabbing after a man in his 20s had been found injured in Louth Road.
The man received medical treatment at the scene and is currently in hospital a serious condition.
A significant police prescence was deployed to the scene as officers worked to catch those responsible.
Now, police have shared that a 19-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after the suspected stabbing.
Lincolnshire Police: “We have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a suspected stabbing in Holton-Le-Clay this evening.
“He was arrested in Grimsby a short time ago and remains in police custody. We believe this to be an isolated incident, and the people believed to be involved were known to each other.
“We continue to carry out enquiries in the local area, and would ask anyone with information to come forward.”
