Nail biting results as several divisions experience position shake ups

Showman’s Army become the first team in all seven divisions to win all ten of their league matches this season and they did so in style with a convincing 10-2 win over beacon to stay top of division 1. 

Showman’s Fu Cue move up to second with a 9-3 win over Cobras in the latest showman’s derby of the season. Mulligans Trojans scored their eighth win of the season however ninth placed Back in Black Beauty put up a great fight to keep the score line at a respectable 7-5. 

Broughton Club Pirates claimed a 7-5 victory over fourth placed Chaos to remain fifth whilst last season’s division 2 champions Brumby Hall got thumped 10-2 away at the respective runners up Redbourne Mods

Showman’s Improvers moved top of division 2 this season with a 9-4 away win at Glenny’s Poachers. Mulligans Majestic Sausage Dogs have been bumped down to second despite a 7-5 home win over fourth placed Cocked Hat.  

Winterton Jubilee move up to third following their 9-4 win at Black Beauty. Messingham Crown registered a good 9-4 away win at Mill Road Black Cats whist RAOB maintained their mid table position with a 7-5 win over Ashby Crown.

Showman’s Spartans took the spoils in the big game of the week in division 3 as they came away from Rat Outcasts with an 8-5 to move within three points of top spot. Pig & Whistle move up into third spot with an outstanding 10-3 win over Cocked Hat.  

Chancel Flyers also registered the same margin of victory against bottom placed liberal to move out of the relegation zone whist Old Farmhouse reignite their promotion hopes with a 9-4 win at Fedoras who are beginning to falter slightly with their title challenge.

Bottesford Town A could only manage a 6-6 draw away at Jolly Sailor this week, however the result keeps them at the top of the league for another week.  

Mulligans STs gained a little ground on the title race with a 8-4 win over Redbourne NnC. Schnapps A maintained their promotion charge with an 8-5 win at chancel.  

Redbourne Madness and RHH Hospital Club also scored wins this week, 9-3 vs Mulligans Youth and 8-4 vs Broughton WMCA to maintain their mid table positions for another week.

Showman’s Young Ones couldn’t wait to capitalise on their game in hand, so they went top of the division 5 table at the end of round 10 with a whitewash victory over bottom placed Butchers of Winterton.  

One point behind in second are Mill Road Dynamite who share the spoils with club mates Mill Road B. Showman’s Hornets are just three points from the top following their 7-5 home win over Roxy Rack Em. The two other fixtures finished as stalemates as both Ashby crown v Talbot and Beckwood v black beauty finished 6-6.

Likewise in division 6, the top team Harry’s Bar won in convincing style to make them strong favourites for the title.  

This week the Harriers won 10-2 against fellow title rivals Beckwood to go thirteen points clear at the top. Bottom placed Scunthorpe Bowl won by the same score line this week against fellow strugglers Mill Road DM.  

Foxhills Bulldogs let their promotion hopes slip a little as they came away from Beacon Old Boys with a 7-5 defeat. Beacon Rats shoot up to second spot with a fantastic 9-4 win at Foxhills Club. Brumby Hall B stay in the bottom two following their 6-6 draw with Schnapps Elite.

Two teams share top spot in division 7 as the title race really heats up this week. Schnapps Reloaded win 9-4 away at Mulligans Spurs whist Mulligans Unique scored a convincing 10-3 win away at Schnapps Retro A.  

Waiting in the wings with a game in hand come Keadby Club with yet another win, this time 8-5 at Bottesford Club to stay third. Lord Roberts stay in the promotion picture with a 9-4 win at Priory. Despite being seventh, Schnapps Retro B win their sixth game of the season at home to Grosvenor.
